Open standards for the autonomous agent ecosystem.
The Bot Standards Foundation is a neutral, non-profit organisation building open infrastructure for autonomous agents as first-class participants on the internet.
To establish and maintain open, neutral infrastructure that enables
autonomous agents to discover, trust, and consume services on the
internet — governed independently of any single commercial interest.
Principles
Neutral
Swiss Stiftung. No commercial entity controls
the standard or the governance.
Open
All specifications published under open licence.
All software under Apache 2.0. Discovery is always free.
Global
Two-layer membership with regional development
tracks for Africa, China, and the Gulf. Infrastructure for the
whole internet, not a western standard.
Transparent
Annual public transparency report. Trust metadata
is verifiable fact, never recommendation.
First initiative
